Diana Selby, NSA is a graduate of the University of Houston Clear Lake with a Bachelor’s degree in Art/English education and currently holds a teaching position at Alvin I.S.D. in high school art. Diana works primarily in colored pencil and watercolor, and also experiments in various mixed media concentrating in florals, portraits, and still-lifes.
Diana participated in the 2001 Houston CowParade (www.houston.cowparade.net) with the MooZoo, Beef Stew, Udderly Glazing, and Moolan Ryan cows and in the 2003 Houston Chairs for Children Charity Art Event. Her entries were On the Wild Side, Not so Wild West, Let’s Play Ball signed by Nolan Ryan, How Sweet it is! signed by the Rockets basketball team and coaches, Are You Ready for Some Football? signed by Texans kicker Chris Brown, and Take Me Out to the Ballgame.
Diana’s portrait, “Waiting to Dance” which is in the collection of Mrs. C. Schuelke, won Second Best in Show in the 1999 NSA National Show.
