Artwork of Gay Paratore, NSA

Gay Paratore is the founder of the National Society of Artists. She has her Bachelor of Arts and Masters degree and studied in New York City at the National Academy of Art and at the Art Students League. She has studied art in Mexico, Italy, Austria, and Germany. Her work has won top awards in prestigious juried shows, and she has had numerous one-woman shows. Her work is on display  in Galveston at the Galveston Art League Gallery and Santa Fe Trails.

Gay teaches private classes in Santa Fe and Manvel, Texas. She works in all media and teaches students of all ages and levels. She is a state certified art consultant and is licensed to conduct art teacher training. Gay is a former art department head at Alvin Community College and has taught at College of the Mainland and the Carrizzo Lodge Art School in Ruidoso, New Mexico.
