- Art Drop Off: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 10at Hutchings Sealy Building, 2ndFloor, 2328 Strand, Galveston, TX
- Awards and Reception: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 11, 2019; Hutchings Sealy Building, 2328 Strand, Galveston, TX
- ArtWalk, Saturday, October 12 in the heart of Galveston’s historic district. ArtWalk takes place in art galleries and other public spaces from 4p-10p, depending on the venue. Our show will be part of ArtWalk with one other NSA gallery in our location.
- Pick up art and check out Sunday, 11a-2pm.
- Shipped art will be returned via artist’s prepaid shipper Monday, October 14.

The show serves as our meeting for the month. Whether you decide to enter the show or not you are encouraged to attend. Support your fellow members, listen to the juror’s discussion and bring your art loving friends and collectors. Make a fine arty day of it!

ELIGIBILITY:
The 34thAnnual Juried Show 2019 is open to artists in both 2D and 3D from the US and worldwide. No jewelry accepted. Work submitted must all be artist’s original work and produced within the last two years.
Works must be:
Paintings must be appropriately framed to museum standards and be secure in the frame and wired for hanging. All work must be able to be carried and/or hung easily by two people and not to exceed 18 sq ft.Framed works larger than 24 inches in any direction must use Plexiglas or acrylic.Canvases deeper than 1 ¼” must have finished edges if not framed.
3-D, free-standing (e.g. sculpture, art dolls, assemblage, pottery, porcelain, glass, wood, metal) works must weigh less than 45 lbs., and come with pedestal or case as required for display. Exception, bowls or pottery, dining size or smaller, need not come with separate display system unless desired by the artist.
ENTERING YOUR IMAGES:
The entry form must be filled out in its entirety, including unframed dimensions (or size), framed dimensions (if not known, estimate it) or weight, medium, and price, if requested. List sizes up to the nearest half inch. Submitted images must not include matting or frame. Crop the photos to include only the artwork. Be sure your images are right-side-up.
For best results, make sure your image is 1920 pixels @72 dpi on the longest side. Images should be in JPEG format, sRGB color space. ENTRY FEES:
The first entry is $35. Each additional entry is $15 without any limit on the number of entries submitted by an artist; however, only 3 will be accepted into the show. All fees are nonrefundable and must be paid by the entry deadline.
SALES & COMMISSION
All work sold is subject to a 20% commission and will be deducted from the sale.

HAND DELIVERED ARTWORK:

SIZE, RESTRICTIONS, ADDITIONAL INFO:
Two Dimensional works must be installation ready. All artwork must be appropriately framed to museum standards (use simple tasteful museum quality frames; no metal frames, no overly ornate frames; only white, ivory or off-white mats – no colored mats). No saw-toothed hangers. Minimum size is 5”x7” unframed; maximum is 48”x 48” including the frame. All diptych and triptych works must be entered as one image=one entry.
Three Dimensional works are limited to 4’x4’x4’ tall and no more than 35 pounds.
